Hand-picked Blackberries

Published by mythili at 1:19 pm under Blackberries

There are several blackberry bushes adjacent to our apartment complex. During our usual evening walk one day I noticed bunches of cute little blackberries. I don’t like blackberries a lot but I picked them anyhow…they were just beautiful. Enjoy!

Madhu – Salt and red-chilli powder.. now that sounds delicious.

Padma – Well not so lucky..but I did like the idea of picking them :D :D I dont like blackberries that much.

Rajita – Actually a lot of our neighbours (non-desis) have been picking them too. That piece of land is what they call “green belt” and is basically untouched :) I gave them away after I took that photo :D :D ..

TBC – Yeah they are beautiful indeed.

Sreelu – Now all you ladies got me yearning for blackberries. Will try some soon.

I know you think I am crazy but I am not a big fan of straw/blue/black/rasp berries :D :D I am trying to change that and get used to the anti-oxidant powerhouses the berries are … next time I see some blackberries, I will surely try them with salt and red chilli powder.

sia, that’s the way life is. only berry haters get the berries. others pay five bucks for a small box. that’s also why we got 150 radishes.
